How are my items shipped?

    • All of our products are shipped using USPS, including international orders. Currently we do not offer options for expedited shipping. 
    • For international orders, once your package reaches the destination country it is then handled and delivered by your country's local postal service 

Shipping Prices & Customs Fees

    • For international shipments, item prices DO NOT include any customs fees assigned by your country. Please be mindful of additional costs that may occur after purchase of items from TheAwkwardStore.com. 
    • Shipping prices are determined by standard USPS rates based on weight.

Why are my items shipping separately?

    • Some products are kept in stock, while others are produced on-demand (on-demand items are indicated as having additional processing times). Orders that are kept in stock ship 5 days per week.
    • If you order an on-demand product and an inventoried product (for example, a t-shirt or mug and a button) they will ship separately.

Preorders:

    • If you order multiple in-stock items along with a preorder, the entire order will be held until the preorder release. To expedite shipping of the other products, please order them separately (does not apply to on-demand items like t-shirts and mugs).
    • Preorder delivery time will be updated on the product page. Please note that the delivery schedule may change from the original estimate.
    • Preorders may be canceled before shipping begins, just email store (at) theawkwardyeti (dot) com with your order number and you'll be refunded in full.

Returns/Exchanges:

    • If your item was damaged, lost/stolen in transit, or incorrect, simply reply to your confirmation email to get your issue resolved. For damaged or incorrect items, please include a photo of the item for reference. 
    • There are no exchanges for print-on-demand items, please reference the size charts and read descriptions carefully. This includes t-shirts, pillows, tote bags, mugs and prints. This is because on-demand items are produced one at a time and are not carried in stock. 

Holiday Shipping times:

    • Before ordering for holidays or a specific event like a birthday, note that many of our products are produced on demand and take extra time to arrive. These items are clearly designated in the print-on-demand category and include things like t-shirts and tote bags. Please plan ahead and refer to our Holiday Shipping Deadlines for more information.
